I'm back after a little workrelated break but now I'm back and I will be focusing entirely on personal work for the next weeks/months.
So I finally wrapped up a pretty big freelance job which kept me busy most of the times since october and although I managed to squeeze in a little speedpaint and sketch here and there I could not really focus on personal work and on actually improving at all, so I can't express how happy I am to be able to do that again right now and throw in some finished personal portfoliostuff in here again.
Soooooo one thing I want to do is to go ahead and split my portfolio into Illustration and conceptart. I've been struggling quite a bit trying to decide what I actually want to do and right now I'm at the point where I just don't give a fuck, fuuuuuuuuuck it I'm doing both!
As a start I want to push the conceptart thingy a little more. I have a very loose idea floating in my head which is putting my designs in sets for my portfolio here. So basically taking on like 3-4 characters and putting them in some kind of design context to one another, giving me the chance to really explöore different stuff.
For starters I always wanted to design some animal based armor, something I have weirdly never actually done before.
As I said, I plan to do a few in one set, here starting with some kind of fat rhino guard.
Got the next one already sketched out and it should be a lot of fun. I also tried to get livestream going again and after some technical struggle I believe it works again, so stay tuned on facebook and twitter if you want to catch me streaming sometime in teh enxt few days :)
