So here we go again, some more livestream PSDs for ya!

Due to some technical issues I am still trying to figure out the recordings are kinda weird gonna figure that out though.

So here are the paintings. These are really quick colorstudies, trying to nail the colors right away, which is something I need to get better at quickly, so be prepared to get some more of those in the future :)

bouguereau FTW!!

Hi everyone!

here is the next study done on my lifestream. IT's basically "just" a colorstudy of a bouguereau painting. Everytime I see his paintings I am blown away by how good he was with skintones, and it's actually almost a little strange that this is my very first study of one of his paintings.
Actually this one was also pretty qucik, around 4 hours or something at the most, so things are speeding up a little what is REALLY good and friggin necessary! :D
SO the next step in tomorrows lifestream will be a painting without reference where I try to apply the stuff I've learned from that one, looking forward to it but first I gotta get some sleep :D

new livestreamstudy

Hi everyone!

Here we go with the next livestudy. This was definitey a lesson in choosing the right photo reference for painting.
I want to learn to see color /render from in very diffuse light situations where the values are reeeaaally close together and you basically have to render caring a lot about subtle color shifts.
While in the reference I used was a quite a lot of these colorshifts going on the values are reeally fucked up, basically just because the left side of the face is too overexposed to see any information there.
Nevertheess it was huge fun, and I learned a TON, mostly that I need to do more and more of that!
Oh and yeah, I only finished her face obviously, finishing the whole piece would've take too mcuh of my sleep :D

First lifestream: DONE :D

yeeah, finally it happened, haha!! 15 viewer alltogerther in about 1,5 hours, pretty neat for the first stream done by a goy who isn't known by anybody :D

So I will be streaming daily from now on, and I will announce the streams via facebook and twitter, so that you can come and watch and maybe do some studies yourself and show them here in the comments. If you like I can upload the pic I am doing a study from so that we can do the same study together :)
