More studies

Sooo here we go agaion, one more studie. Damn these are so much fun to paint. Whats really interesting and fascinatiing is that how much the most subtle changes can change a face completely and how careful one has to be in order to not screw up the likeness.
And it gets even MORE interesting when you thing in reverse about how caricatures "work".

    These photostudies are gorgeous :o :)!! How do you create such softness but still keep the sharpness?

    thanks man. actually I don't know :D Basically I work from soft to sharp, so that I can kinda "pull out" the areas where I want the sharpness to be really nicely. It feels kinda more natural doing it this way, just mimicking howw the eye actually works when it comes to edgework :)
