At the moment I am hammering onto that helmet-thing trying to get that rough metall texture just perfect. The problem right nwo is that the texture itself looks quite okay till now but the whole thing doesn't really read as well when zooming out a lot.
So what I am doing now is trying to figure out what the problem actually is, and I THINK that I got it right now:
the problem is/was that it wasn't interacting with the white environment too well, so what I am doing next is adding some more lights into the areas turining away from the viewer /into the background, I think this will fix things quite okay (at least it worked really well with the legs I believe. Now that effect is still qute exeggerated but I think it shows that it's going in the right direction.
